KOLL DEVELOPMENT COMPANY WELCOMES NEW PROJECT MANAGER
Melanie June brings 19 years of project experience to KDC’s Southeast division
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – – Koll Development Company (KDC), one of America’s leading commercial real estate firms, has hired Melanie June as project manager for the company’s Southeast division. June is responsible for managing the design and construction process from project initiation through to tenant occupancy.
June’s primary focus is the KDC Intellicenter projects in Atlanta and Charlotte. She is currently overseeing the relocation of Freightliner LLC’s marketing and sales division from Portland, Ore. to the 150,000 square foot Charlotte-Intellicenter.
“Based on June’s experience, she is the ideal manager for the Intellicenter project and has the skills to deliver it in a ‘fast track’ timeframe,” Larry Wilson, president of KDC’s Southeast division. “Her expertise is invaluable to not only our Carolinas team, but our company as a whole, as we develop more projects in the Southeast part of the country.”
June has more than nineteen years of experience in commercial real estate, with an emphasis in project management, design and construction. Prior to her position at KDC, June served as project manager for Crescent Resources, LLC. A few of her notable development projects include: Piedmont Natural Gas Corporate Headquarters, Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, ESP & Associates Headquarters, American Wholesale Insurance, RSM McGladrey, Internal Revenue Service, Trane, Swisher Hygiene and Muzak.
