As part of Raytheon’s real estate modernization and consolidation efforts, the company decided to build a second phase at its manufacturing headquarters in McKinney, Texas. KDC developed Phase I of Raytheon’s new manufacturing facility and is proud to be selected as the Phase Two developer.
Phase II is comprised of a 188,000-square-foot office tower and a 270,000-quare-foot manufacturing space. The exterior of the office tower will include ribbon glass and ACM panels with brick accents, while the manufacturing building will include tiltwall panels with skylight ribbon windows.
The larger, consolidated modern manufacturing operation in McKinney will enable Raytheon to develop, build, test and deliver more advanced technology while generating 700 jobs.
Ground has been broken on Phase II with completion planned for second quarter 2024. Phase I, which was complete in 2021, and Phase II sit on Raytheon’s campus in north McKinney near the intersection of Highway 380 and US Highway 75.
