The year 2024 marks three decades during which JPMorgan Chase has been active in North Louisiana. And the company has another reason to celebrate this year, as developer KDC launched construction in early July on a 50,000-square-foot Operations Center in the region.
Situated on five acres in Ruston, LA, the operations center will employ between 75 and 150 when completed in Q3 2025. Architect HKS designed the Woodward Avenue facility with LEED Silver and ILFI Zero Carbon Certifications in mind.
The Ruston Center will expand the activities of the Chase Operations Center in Monroe, LA. Those functions include recording, archiving and providing custodial services for home loans, auto loans and securities activities throughout the region.
“Chase celebrated our 30th year of doing business in North Louisiana earlier this year. This groundbreaking in Ruston is an important moment in our ongoing commitment to our region,” said Tania Hilburn, managing director and site lead for the Chase Home Lending operations in Monroe.
The Continued KDC-JPMorgan Chase Partnership
KDC has an active relationship with JPMorgan Chase, having developed the financial institution’s 1-million-square-foot Legacy Campus at Headquarters Drive and Communications Parkway in Plano, TX. Following the completion of the first phase in 2017, KDC began construction on phase two, a 540,000-square-foot office tower to house additional employees. The 12-story office tower was finished in 2021.
“This Ruston facility is Chase’s newest opportunity in North Louisiana and will serve as a great addition to the community,” said Robert Maddux, vice president of design and construction for KDC. “It is the highest compliment when you are asked to work on multiple projects for one company, and KDC is proud to develop another facility for Chase.”
