DALLAS– (June 19, 2024) – KDC, a leading real estate developer and investment firm, today announced Senior Vice President/Director of Leasing, Aarica Mims, has been named a GlobeSt. Aspiring Leader of 2024. This recognition, which was formerly known as GlobeSt.’s CRE Top 50 Under 40, highlights the industry's best and brightest young professionals who stand out among their counterparts and will likely serve at the helm of commercial real estate organizations in the future.

With 17 years of experience in the industry, Aarica has been at the forefront of some of North Texas’ largest lease transactions, acquisitions, new developments and redevelopment projects. Throughout her career, Aarica has made an impact on the industry through her ability to build and maintain strong rapport.

Aarica joined KDC in 2021 as senior vice president and director of leasing. In her role, Aarica serves as the leasing expert and guides the day-to-day decision-making that continues to expand KDC’s leasing platform. She has a variety of responsibilities including acquisitions of new assets, multi-tenant office leasing, pre-leasing of development sites, single-tenant build-to-suit corporate development leasing, along with overseeing corporate and property marketing.

In 2023, during the challenging economic environment, Aarica secured one of North Texas’ largest lease transactions: the 238,000-square-foot lease of Bank of America Tower at Parkside. Aarica navigated the team through a successful negotiation and inked a deal for Bank of America to call the new 30-story, 500,000-square-foot tower its new corporate home.
